Time to register Choristers (new and returning) for the fall and for the Chorister Retreat taking place on September 20 and 21.
The Chorister Program
Open to all children in the second grade and above. The Choristers have weekly rehearsals and sing each Sunday morning at the 8:45 liturgy. In their rehearsals they receive vocal training, learn to read music, and develop in their role as leaders in the liturgy. We also have social events such as a Christmas party and an end-of-year pool party. We would be thrilled to have your child participate!
The schedule of rehearsals for Cathedral Choristers is as follows:
Junior Choristers (2nd and 3rd grade): Monday afternoon from 4:45 – 5:30 p.m.
Senior Choristers (4th grade and above): Wednesday afternoon from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
2024 Chorister Retreat
Friday, September 20, 6 p.m. and Saturday, September 21, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
The retreat is for current Choristers and their families and for new or prospective Choristers and their families. Even if your child is still undecided about whether or not to join the Chorister Program, he or she is welcome to attend the retreat to get a feel for what it’s like to be a Chorister and to meet the other Choristers.
