Discovery Weekend 2025 is almost here! Discovery Weekend is a spiritual formation retreat (imagine all the goodness of summer camp crammed into a weekend!) held in the local parish for youth in grades 6-12. Our weekend will be held January 17-19, 2025. We kickoff on Friday evening and wrap up on Sunday morning after the 8:45 Am Liturgy. The weekend will be filled with worship, small group time, and tons of fun at CCC.

Whether you or your child have been active or not, you are invited to this weekend. Everyone is invited to experience God’s love and find out how much God has to say. 

Here are three key ways you can support Discovery Weekend:

Register: If you have a student in grades 6-12, sign them up for Discovery Weekend. We want EVERY student involved in this weekend! Deadline is January 2. Cost is $100. It’s really important to register early due to Advent Season, Christmas break, etc. so we’re offering an early bird price of $65 through December 23. 

Join the Discovery Team: We’ll need to fill 100+ volunteer slots throughout the weekend. We especially need male and female overnight leaders. This role is best served by parents of our young people, so please help us get these spots filled before Christmas. The whole parish is invited to participate in the weekend through serving on the team, praying, providing snacks and gifts. Reach out to MC to sign up to volunteer.

Pray: Please begin praying for this weekend and our youth community at Christ Church Cathedral and make plans to attend the Parish-Wide Prayer Service on January 18 at 7 pm in the Nave.
