Mission:
To serve Christ in all persons, caring for our elders, those in need, and those unable to attend Sunday worship.
Time Commitment:
1-2 hours every 4-8 weeks; Eucharistic visits happen on Sundays after morning liturgies, and midweek as needed.
Benefits from volunteering:
On behalf of the congregation, you are sharing the body and blood of Christ with those who need it most—the elderly, the lonely, the sick. These visits are meaningful and appreciated!
What's included?
Participating in a one-hour training session with the chairperson of the Eucharistic Visitor ministry. Receiving an assignment every 4-8 weeks to take communion to someone at home, in a facility, or in the hospital who is unable to attend worship services in person. Communicating with the chairperson and/or clergy about issues/needs that may arise during the visit.

Mission:
To provide gentle support to parishioners in times of crisis and/or change through prayer, the laying on of hands, and anointing with oil. Believing that God’s compassion is healing and guided by humble obedience to Jesus’ call for his disciples to heal, Christians in community can participate in “bearing one another’s burdens” with prayer and ancient rituals through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Time Commitment:
2-4 hours per month before and during regular church service.
Benefits:
This ministry rewards anyone who may be called to allow the Holy Spirit to work through them in promoting healing.
What’s Included:
On Sunday mornings during the Holy Eucharist at the 8:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. liturgies, members of the Healing Prayer Ministry assist parishioners who come into the Chapel seeking prayers for the healing of body, mind, and spirit and for the ability to manage peacefully life’s suffering. The prayer request may be for others, the parishioner, or both, and the process includes anointing with oil that has been blessed. This is such an important ministry that before you are brought into the group, you will meet with one of the priests for training.
